On the occasion of the Tate Britain's exhibition Life Between Islands, David A Bailey and Allison Thompson published this book titled Liberation Begins in the Imagination.
Gathering writings by fundamental writers, visual artists, curators, and critics, this publication is a study of the interrelationship between the English-Speaking Caribbean countries and the UK. With a wide range of texts (poems, essays, interviews and conversations), this sourcebook focuses on the period between 1920s to today, studying and understanding the development and evolution of a Caribbean-British identity.
